The Gospel Rome Doesn't Want You to Know
Rome’s Influence Still Shapes Christianity—But Is It the Faith Yeshua Taught?
What if the Jesus you’ve been taught to follow… isn’t the Jesus who truly lived?
For centuries, mainstream Christianity has proclaimed a version of Yeshua (Jesus) that is far removed from his true identity. But the truth is shocking: Yeshua of Nazareth was a Torah-observant Jew who never abandoned the commandments, never rejected the Torah, and never founded a new religion. So how did his teachings get replaced with a Greco-Roman faith that bears little resemblance to what he actually preached?
🚨 The Forgotten Truth:
Yeshua upheld the Torah, observed the Sabbath, and lived according to God’s commandments.
He declared, “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish but to fulfill.” (Matthew 5:17)
His earliest followers, the Nazarenes and Ebionites, kept the Torah while proclaiming Yeshua as the Messiah.
Yet, as Rome absorbed and reshaped Christianity to serve its empire, these Torah-faithful believers were silenced. Why? Because an empire built on conquest and power could not embrace a Messiah who preached humility, love, and obedience to God’s law.
📜 What Happened to the Gospel?
Greek replaced Hebrew as the language of scripture, altering key meanings.
Sunday worship replaced the Sabbath, aligning with Roman sun worship.
The Council of Laodicea (364 CE) condemned Torah observance, making Jewish-rooted practices illegal.
Paul’s writings were misinterpreted, leading to the false claim that he rejected the Torah.
📖 What Did Paul Really Teach?
Many blame Paul for abandoning the Torah, but this is a misunderstanding. When Paul wrote that salvation is "not by works," he wasn’t rejecting the commandments—he was rejecting the idea that Gentiles had to convert to Judaism to be saved. “Works of the law” meant the conversion process, not Torah observance. Paul affirmed that Gentiles could join the covenant without legal conversion while still honoring God's commandments.
⚡ The Big Question:
If Yeshua and Paul both upheld the Torah, why does the modern church reject it? Has tradition replaced truth?

Of course, Jesus taught the old covenant…
I mean, why wouldn’t he. In fact, he made your old covenant harder because he taught off the feelings of the heart. But when he died, the old covenant died with it, and when he rose again, he rose to the new covenant in other words a new covenant was was then put in place by his life. He then chose SaulofTaurus. to be his administrator of the new covenant. 99% of churches today preach a mixture of the two. But last there is only one.
Paul was a member of the Sanhedrin. Most certainly he followed it.
